Development Teams U9-U12

ABOUT THE PROGRAM: The Development Program focuses on growth and competition, with games primarily in Kelowna. Practices are led by Parent Volunteer Coaches working toward the appropriate certifications per Canada Soccer, supported by PFC staff coaches.

PROGRAM DETAILS:
  • Boys & girls born 2017–2014

  • Two training sessions per week (90 minutes each), led by certified parent volunteer coaches with oversight from Pinnacles FC licensed professional coaches

  • One game per week, led by Pinnacles FC parent volunteer coaches

  • Pre-season training begins in the last week of March, leading into the game season (dates TBC)

  • League Participation:

    • U9: COYSA Open League

    • U10–U11: COYSA Open or COYSA Development League (see below for league information)

    • U12: COYSA Open, COYSA Development, or TOYSL League (see below for league information)

  • Optional tournaments may be arranged by teams at an additional cost throughout the season.

  • Team Travel: Required as far as Kelowna for COYSA and COYSA Development teams, and as far as Revelstoke/Salmon Arm for TOYSL teams.

PROGRAM EQUIPMENT:
  • Equipment Package Includes: PFC competition jersey (on loan, to be returned at the end of the season), and 1x Navy PFC training jersey, shorts and socks (yours to keep).

  • All players must have shin guards and proper footwear; cleats and turf shoes are acceptable

  • Oliver/Osoyoos (COYSA league option only)

TEAM PLACEMENT + EVALUATIONS

U9
Players are placed into balanced Pinnacles FC teams that compete in the COYSA League.

U10–U12
Players participate in evaluations to support appropriate team placement.

  • U10–U11: Teams are placed in either the COYSA Open Division or the COYSA Development Division.

  • U12: Teams are placed in the COYSA Open Division, COYSA Development Division, or the TOYSL.
    All divisions receive the same quality coaching and club support from Pinnacles FC.

  • Player evaluations will be held during the training sessions in early March

SPRING TRAINING SCHEDULE
  • Please note that all program dates, locations, and schedules are subject to change. Every effort is made to maintain the posted schedule; however, schedules may be adjusted based on volunteer coach availability and field access.

  • Pinnacles FC will share the finalized training schedule prior to the start of the Spring season.

  • National Day for Truth and Reconciliation (September 30)
  • Thanksgiving Weekend (October 10-12)
  • Remembrance Day (November 11)
  • Extra sessions, including on long weekends, may be scheduled by the coach. Check with your coach and TeamSnap for updates.

Registration OPENS: February 1, 2026
Registration CLOSES: March 1, 2026
Early Bird Pricing in effect until February 13th

 

Registration fees include two weekly practices and one game per week, small-sided referees for matches, one PFC training jersey, shorts and socks, and all applicable league fees.

 

Development U9–U10

  • Full Outdoor Season (Spring + Fall): $595

  • Spring Season Only: $475

  • Jersey Deposit: $50

Development U11–U12

  • Full Outdoor Season (Spring + Fall): $645

  • Spring Season Only: $495

  • Jersey Deposit: $50

 

Jersey Deposit Details

All Pinnacles FC Development and Competitive players are required to submit a $50 jersey deposit. This deposit will be fully refunded when the Pinnacles FC competition jerseys (blue and white) are returned in good condition at the end of the season. PFC training jersey, game shorts and socks are included and are yours to keep.

  • Payment is due prior to the start of the season.

  • If paying by instalments, all instalments must be completed before the season begins.
