First Steps: Minis

ABOUT THE PROGRAM:  The U7-U8 program transitions players from "first steps" to soccer readiness. Focused on skill development, fostering teamwork, and building strong movement foundations, it prepares kids for future soccer success in a fun, supportive environment.

PROGRAM DETAILS:

  • Born 2018 - 2019

  • 60-minute sessions

  • Two sessions per week (1 practice and 1 game)

  • Boys’ teams and girls’ teams, as permitted by registration numbers

  • Parent volunteer coaches required

  • Sessions led by parent volunteers with junior coach support as needed, and PFC Licensed Staff Coach oversight

  • Jamboree Days - 1-2 Community Days. Experience the fun of a mini-tournament! All PFC Community Minis teams are invited to play in these jamborees. Dates and locations TBA.

PROGRAM EQUIPMENT:

  • All players get a Timbits jersey, shorts, and socks

  • Minimal equipment needed: Running shoes or soccer cleats, and shin guards

  • Dress in layers as needed, jacket, hat, gloves, training pants or shorts​

  • Thanksgiving Weekend (October 10-12)
  • Remembrance Day (November 11)

TEAM BUILDING + FRIEND REQUESTS

  • To request a coach or team mates please fill out the Friend Request Form.

  • Pinnacles FC will make every effort to place players with requested teammates; however, placement cannot be guaranteed.

REGISTRATION FEES

Spring Registration Fee: $195

Registration fee includes a Timbits jersey, shorts, and socks

Registration OPENS: February 1, 2026
Registration CLOSES: March 15, 2026
Early Bird Pricing in effect until February 13th

  • If paying by instalments, all instalments must be completed before the season begins.
